Winner of the Israeli Academy Award for best cinematography for his distinct style and sensibility for visual storytelling, Daniel has been working on feature films and TV series in Israel and Europe for the past decade, always seeking unconventional approaches and visual styles to emphasize each project's qualities. 


His narrative works have been screened at multiple international festivals and competitions, including Cannes, Berlinale, TIFF, Tribeca, Locarno, San Sebastian, The Israeli Academy Awards, the American Oscars, and many others. Amongst the best cinematography awards gained for his work are the prestigious Israeli Academy Award, and Haifa Film Festival award for Best Cinematography for the feature film Fig Tree (2018), the Jerusalem Film Festival award for Shake Your Cares Away (2021), and the LA Asian Pacific award for L’Ame du Tigre (2016). His first feature film Run (2014), which was nominated for Cannes Camera d'Or, gained him a nomination for the AMAA African Academy Awards.

Alongside his narrative work, Daniel has been shooting high-end commercials and music videos for top brands and artists, in addition to some award-winning documentaries.
