ABOUT Daniel Miller
Winner of the Israel Academy Award for Best Cinematography for his work on the feature Fig Tree, Daniel graduated from the Sam Spiegel film school in 2012, at which time he was awarded the best cinematographer of his class. He is also a graduate of the exclusive Budapest Cinematography Masterclass, where he studied under Vilmos Zsigmond ASC.
The feature films and shorts he shot participated in many international festivals and competitions, such as Cannes, Berlinale, San Sebastian, The Israeli Academy Awards, the American Oscars and many more.
Daniel has also gained many International prizes for his work, including The Israeli Academy award and Haifa Film Festival award for best cinematography (Fig Tree), and the LAPFF best cinematography award (L’Ame du Tigre).
His first feature film Run, which participated in Cannes Un Certain Regard, gained him a nomination for the AMAA African Academy Awards.
Besides his cinema work, Daniel has been working in commercials, documentaries, web and TV series in Israel, Europe and Africa, and is now working on an international TV series for HOT.
